Hello! My name is Anh Nguyen-Wetzel, and I’m a Web Designer/Content Operations Specialist from Philadelphia, PA. As a child, I’d always love all kinds of web related technologies. I taught myself HTML/FrontPage and created my first webpage in 1999. I graduate from Cabrini College in 2005 with a degree in Information Systems and a minor in Graphic Design.
Currently, I’ve a full time job at StarCite,Inc. I’ve been working here since May 2007 as the Operations Specialist. My day to day responsibilities included fulfillment/maintenance/troubleshooting/updating web contents (ads, data, images) for the supplier database of over 100,000 vendors running across 5 platforms. Here, I also take on additional projects – creating landing page, implemented a custom registration site template for one of our major client using StarCite Attendee Management System and integrate EveryScape virtual tour API to our platforms.
Aside from Starcite, I also does freelancing – design/setup/maintain websites for small businesses and sport leagues using WordPress and combination of CSS, XHTML, FLASH, JavaScript, Jquery that comply with W3C standards. I’ve been doing this part time since 2004.
When not in front of the computer, I enjoyed: travelling, the beach, the gym, dining out/tasting new food, anything about The Simpsons, Arts.
